Also, put on new PIAA silicone wipers yesterday but never got to use them because the water was rolling right off

What products did you use?

For this, just rinseless wash with Ultima Waterless Wash
https://www.autogeek.net/ultima-waterless-wash-concentrate.html
finished off with ONR Wash and Shine diluted to quick-detailer ratio after drying
https://www.amazon.com/Optimum-NR2010Q-Rinse-Wash-Shine/dp/B00D8DR0AO
Griots wheel cleaner
https://www.griotsgarage.com/product/wheel+cleaner.do
and a super-cheap ArmorAll spray wax for the wheels.
I don’t do polishing and all that stuff. But I do use clay, Meguiars cleaner wax, Meguiars Sealant and Adams Buttery Wax as a final topper.

A good alternative to that wax is Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax. It’s nice because you can apply it to a wet car. Just get the new clay mitt and then you can skip that step.

I debated both and settled for this because I use a detailing spray for that anyway. And yeah, I use a clay mitt not a clay bar. There’s still about half of the buttery wax left, might get the CG one next year.
